The amount of blogging around here lately has been pitiful...not that anyone is really concerned except for the grandparents wanting pictures of their girl! We have a couple of good excuses.
First, we had a full week of our little sick Annabelle. My hands were too full holding my girl to even think about typing. Second, it has been too cold/wet/snowy to do anything but play inside and long for warm weather. Third, we have been working ourselves like crazy for the last two weeks to get our house ready to sell.
We finally put our sign in the yard on Monday. Honestly, I really dread this part of the process so much more than the packing/moving. Jesse and I both love being at home. We love that our home is warm, cozy and "us". Now that the house is on the market, it no longer feels like our home - just the house we live in right now. It looks beautiful, but the clutter of everyday life is gone/hidden. Jesse's parents have so graciously taken in our dogs for the process. It has already been a huge relief to not have to vacuum my way out of the house every morning.
We have a lot of big things up in the air right now...totally out of our control. It is completely against my nature to just sit back, relax and have faith that it will all work out. I want to make things happen... and right now, I can't. We have done all that we can do - now we just wait...wait to see what God has in store for our family.
Pictures soon!

A cute little carrier monkey...
Well, our baby girl is sick. Really, more like SICK. She started acting pitiful over the weekend, but on Monday morning I thought she seemed a little bit better. Turns out that was not the case, but she is tricky like that. When I picked her up from daycare on Monday afternoon, the teachers gave me an "advisory" letter informing parents that a baby in the room had a really bad case of RSV.
Y'all, I actually said "You won't allow a baby that sick to come back until it is well, right? RIGHT?" They assured me that was the case, and I left feeling relieved that my baby wouldn't be infected by this sick child.
Well, Monday night things started to go downhill. We went to see the doctor yesterday... and of course, she has RSV and an ear infection. The poor baby is miserable. She can't sleep, can't breathe, and has a scary cough. She can't decide what she wants and nothing is making her happy. Actually, standing up in the bathtub last night was very pleasing to her...she was absolutely beside herself when I was not on board with her plan.
So we are pretty much house bound for the next 5 days. She is going to need lots of fluids, her humidifier, and TLC from her mama. Her mama is going to need lots of diet coke!
