The amount of blogging around here lately has been pitiful...not that anyone is really concerned except for the grandparents wanting pictures of their girl! We have a couple of good excuses.
First, we had a full week of our little sick Annabelle. My hands were too full holding my girl to even think about typing. Second, it has been too cold/wet/snowy to do anything but play inside and long for warm weather. Third, we have been working ourselves like crazy for the last two weeks to get our house ready to sell.
We finally put our sign in the yard on Monday. Honestly, I really dread this part of the process so much more than the packing/moving. Jesse and I both love being at home. We love that our home is warm, cozy and "us". Now that the house is on the market, it no longer feels like our home - just the house we live in right now. It looks beautiful, but the clutter of everyday life is gone/hidden. Jesse's parents have so graciously taken in our dogs for the process. It has already been a huge relief to not have to vacuum my way out of the house every morning.
We have a lot of big things up in the air right now...totally out of our control. It is completely against my nature to just sit back, relax and have faith that it will all work out. I want to make things happen... and right now, I can't. We have done all that we can do - now we just wait...wait to see what God has in store for our family.
