You are 11 months old today! Here is what you have been up to this month...
- You are seeming more and more like a toddler everyday...especially when you sit on your knees to play. Something about that just seems so grown up.
- You have two bottom teeth now. You run your tongue over them a lot, and you like to clamp down on your plastic spoon after every bite.
- We think you have the most delightful personality! You are loving, curious, quick to laugh, and so much fun!
- Every time we are out with you, people stop us to comment on your big, brown eyes. They are so expressive and full of life. You are so interested in everything going on around you.
- You have taken several steps on your own and are starting to stand for a couple of seconds at a time. Mostly, you love to walk behind your little push toy.
- You love your swing. If we walk by the front window where you can see it, you reach for it and get so excited. You get so upset when I get you out of it. We have spent so much time out there lately that I am wearing a bare spot in the grass.
- You had your first stomach bug this month. It was horrible, and it took a week for you to get well. I think that your daddy is scarred for life after taking care of you while I was sick too.
- You have started patting our backs when we love on you. It is so precious!
- You no longer leave bows in your hair. As soon as you realize it is there, you pull it out and hand it to one of us.
- Your favorite toys right now are your board books and your stuffed animals. You really enjoy all of the things in the house that aren't toys...photo boxes, my necklaces, the phone, magazines (to tear up, not to read), sunglasses...
Every day with you is such a blessing and an adventure! We love, love, love you!
